Playing around with black and white conversion.

I love black and white photos and thus, I do a lot of black and white conversion of images that I have captured in color. After converting my raw images in either Adobe Lightroom or Capture NX2, I then convert the resulting colored TIF images in Photoshop with Nik plugin softwares like Silver Efex Pro or Color Efex Pro to black and white. These Nik plugins are so powerful that various monochrome tonal versions or interpretations can be derived from a single colored image.
