Jazeerat Al Hamra (Ghost Town, Ras Al Khaimah) part 1

Jazeerat Al Hamra is an abandoned town having structures from different generations in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It is more popularly known locally as a ghost town because aside from it being deserted, abandoned and left to ruins long time ago, stories of hauntings and paranormal happenings at night from that place abound.
At day time, this place is a black and white photographer’s haven because of all the ruins, complete with all it’s textures, highlights and shadows. As proof of this, there has never been a serious photographer from this corner of the middle east who hasn’t been here to shoot the ruins.

I myself have been there to shoot multiple times and below are some of my favorite images from that place.
