I haven’t done any other type of photography aside from wildlife photography for quite some time.  For a change, I decided to brush up on my people photography.  Over the years, I have been photographing every now and then, my friend, Anna.

Squeezing about one hour before work, without any concept in mind, we had a quick shoot at her flat and came out with one or two exceptional images of her.

The shoot being an impromptu session was quite an easy one. The scene was devoid of special lighting setup and was lit up only by the overwhelming strong early afternoon sidelight coming from the big windows in her flat and shadows filled up by a big circular reflector.

Session photographed with Nikon D3 using Nikkor 85mm f1.8D.
